About Jon
My name is Jon, and I have been playing guitar for over ten years. I have played guitar for bands, at church, and even sitting by the campfire with good friends. My hope is that you will learn music and love it as much as I do. The ability to play even simple chords and songs makes the instrument fun and valuable to have nearby. Whether it’s entertaining your friends and family, or you dream of taking the stage as a member of a band, I want to help you reach your goals and become the player you want to be.

Students will learn proper finger placement, how to hold the instrument, basic chords and scales and even some cool guitar riffs to make your guitar playing sound awesome! Students will also learn basic tunings, songs, and scales to help exercise those fingers and make them strong and flexible preparing them for further learning of the instrument.
