About Maya
I have been playing guitar for 9 years and teaching for 3. I have a lot of experience with students who thought they were "unmusical" or "clumsy." My patient method has helped both children and adults learn to play and enjoy the instrument. I create my own easy-to-read materials to support our lessons and ensure you have everything you need to practice effectively.

We will move at your pace, focusing on mastering one small skill at a time, from holding the pick correctly to changing chords smoothly. I'll teach you simple, recognizable songs right from the start to keep you motivated and remind you of the progress you're making.
