About Sonakshi
I am currently a student, completing my Bachelor's of Biotechnology (Honors). I am a meticulous person, and I want to teach students of this level to inspire the love of biology and chemistry that my own teachers have instilled in me. I can provide a different level of insight that I have, due to the fact that I’m only being a couple of years older than the year group I wish to teach. My teaching style is catered to students who want to do well but might get overwhelmed by the scope of the subject, when at its core, biology and chemistry are straightforward subjects. I adapt very well to each student I encounter, and I know that there is no “one size fits all” with studying. I can adjust my notes and teaching style to match my respective student.

I follow a practice-based teaching style, so many of the classes will revolve around discussions, presentations, and topical questions that we will solve together. I have comprehensive notes to provide students as well. Each class is an hour long, providing enough time to revise old information, learn a new subtopic, and practice a couple of questions to ensure that the student has a proper grasp of the concepts learned. I have taught primary school English and lower secondary science for 7 months, and I myself studied the science stream for both IGCSE’s and A-Levels. I achieved A* for all my science subjects. My lessons are for lower secondary students (year 7-9) and IGCSE students for biology and chemistry.
