About Michele

Where Music, Laughter, and Learning Come Together!
Meet Ms. Wilson — a teacher known for her humor, passion, and heart. With a natural ability to connect with kids, she brings energy and empathy into every lesson, helping students grow not just as musicians, but as confident, creative individuals.
Ms. Wilson believes music is more than notes on a page — it’s a pathway to life skills like focus, discipline, teamwork, and self-expression. Her students learn the building blocks of music through a hands-on, movement-based approach that makes learning fun and unforgettable!
With her comprehensive teaching style, students explore:
Music Theory — understanding how music works from the inside out
Rhythm & Kinesthetics — using the body to feel and internalize the beat
Practical Skills — learning faster, playing better, and loving every step of the journey
Ms. Wilson is especially skilled at engaging young, active learners, keeping every class exciting, interactive, and full of laughter. Her motivating, compassionate guidance inspires students to reach their potential — both at the piano and beyond!

About the lesson

I specialize in ages 4-16, but I do teach adult piano also. I love to work with beginners and intermediate students. I tailor lessons to what you're interested in. I also like to add movement to the lesson when the children are ages 4-8. I believe it's important to make the lessons fun and successes huge. I add music learning games. I have my Music Education certification for Pre-K through 12th grade. I have taught in a private school for 11 years, public school for 19 years, and privately for 11 years. I like to use many different lesson systems, but I particularly like "Wonderkeys". I also teach online using a platform called Muzie.live.
