About Islim Gul
Online Turkish and English lessons are given by a qualified teacher through Zoom, Skype and WhatsApp. The aim of my Turkish tuition is that my students read, write, understand and speak my mother tongue to the best of their abilities. Being a native speaker puts me in the position of working on my students’ Turkish in all aspects of language learning – from improving their pronunciation and intonation of Turkish words, expanding their vocabulary into advancing their understanding of various idiosyncrasies in Turkish grammar. Even though many of these aspects can of course be taught by a non-native teacher, only a Turkish native speaker of the language will know whether your choice of words is not only appropriate but natural in the context which you used it in and will be able to help you to speak Turkish without an accent.

I use different teaching methods and strategies such as communicative language teaching, total physical response, cooperative language learning, audiolingualism, task-based language teaching etc. which are beneficial when teaching languages. I also use peripheral learning method which allows learners to learn naturally.
