My teaching method involves understanding the way that my students learn and adapting accordingly.
A typical lesson will start by setting an intention for problems to address. Then we will work through those problems and reflect on the challenges faced as well as what the student may need to focus their efforts on. Finally action items (homework) will be provided for the student to address these identified challenges on their own time until the next session.
I believe my vast experience tutoring individuals from lower school to high school to university level and my obsession with customizing and adapting learning to the individual makes me a great choice for those that really want to maximize their learning for the time they spend. Not only can students expect a thorough understanding of the material but they can also expect to better understand themselves and how they learn best.
My lessons are currently targeting math topics up to Calculus level. As long as I know the topics and content of the student's focus in advance, I can make sure that I can adapt my teaching/lessons accordingly.
