About Rebekah
I am a dedicated tutor, teaching what I excel in. I use a hands-on, collaborative teaching approach that guides students step by step while building their confidence and understanding. As a younger tutor, I connect easily with students while maintaining a professional, supportive, and focused learning environment that encourages growth and success. However, I can be fun and when it comes to practice I try to incorporate different games or fun mnemonics to help the student. I am also willing to learn with the student so there will be times we have fun learning new things together!

My approach as a tutor is hands-on and collaborative. I teach math, reading, and writing alongside the student, explaining concepts step-by-step and encouraging questions. A typical lesson includes reviewing what we know, active recall, lesson overview, learning new concepts, practicing and more active recall. I came to learn that active recall and practice help a student most. What sets me apart is my collaborative style and my ability to connect and learn with students and a younger tutor. My lessons are for elementary and middle school (with the occasional high school) students who want supportive, engaging help.
