About Delilah
I am a passionate piano teacher with nine years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano. My teaching approach centers on active musical involvement, helping students connect deeply with every note they play. I emphasize artistic intent, guiding learners to express emotion and meaning through music.
I provide personalized instruction tailored to each student’s strengths, goals, and learning style. Lessons integrate theory, history, technique, and creativity, ensuring a well-rounded musical foundation. I believe understanding the “why” behind the music is just as important as playing it.
Over the years, I have successfully taught students from complete beginners to professional performers. My approach encourages curiosity, discipline, and confidence at every level. I design exercises and repertoire that challenge students while keeping lessons engaging and inspiring.
Creativity and exploration are key components of my teaching, allowing students to develop their own musical voice. I emphasize consistent practice alongside imaginative interpretation to achieve growth. My ultimate goal is for students to enjoy playing, feel accomplished, and develop lifelong musicianship.
Every lesson is a step toward mastery, and I celebrate each milestone with my students. I look forward to helping learners discover the joy and depth of piano music.

My teaching approach is focused on helping students build strong piano skills step by step. I guide learners through chord progressions and scale exercises to develop technique and musical understanding. Rhythmic exercises are included to strengthen timing and coordination. I also introduce repertoire gradually, expanding it as students grow more confident.
I provide real-time feedback during lessons so students can improve immediately. Practice routines are designed to be engaging and effective, keeping motivation high. I emphasize understanding music, not just playing notes, so learning becomes meaningful.
Whether exploring pop, classical, or contemporary styles, I adapt lessons to each student’s goals. I focus on helping students gain confidence and express themselves through the piano. Challenges are broken into manageable steps to make progress consistent and enjoyable.
I encourage exploration and creativity alongside disciplined practice. Students develop both technical skill and musicality. My aim is for every student to feel proud of their progress and excited to play. Lessons are interactive, fun, and tailored to help students excel at their own pace.
