About Soha
I have been teaching students in the elementary and middle school for over 18 years in Southern California. All my students progress and improve their reading. Students' lessons are always differentiated and adjusted to their individual needs. As an education specialist, I know that students progress at varying levels, and no two students are alike. This is what sets my teaching apart. I know how to individualize lessons, and help students progress based on their cognitive level and development.

I teach reading using the Orton Gillingham multi sensory approach. Students will use all their senses to learn phonics, spelling, writing using the science of reading.
The first lesson starts with an assessment of students' current reading level.
A typical lesson will start with the review of vowels and sound that student already knows, and include an introduction of a new vowel and consonant.
Students will practice decoding and spelling words as soon as they have mastered a few consonants and letters.
These lesson are for beginner learners, and for first grade through 6th grade students who struggle with reading.
