About Jo Ann
During my 30 years in various settings, I have been flexible in teaching styles and methods. I can quickly note what a student needs to focus on during sessions. I use some drill work and memorization, but tend to be creative and have the student involved in what their interests are. I worked in classroom, small groups, and individuals in various language and reading tasks. I have been a team member and have provided input to other teachers. I view every situation as a challenge and can tell you that my students have learned as well as those I have consulted with.

I have a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Speech Pathology. I have worked in the Phoenix Area for 30 years in classrooms, small groups, and individual sessions. I was a teaching Assistant on a volunteer basis.
