About Madilyn
Teaching is not just my job, it is my passion. I have never once questioned what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Five years ago, my teaching career began fairly quickly. I was hired in the public school system as a long-term substitute, then moved to a reading tutor position and was eventually hired for a full time fifth grade position. I have taught all subject areas, but feel my strength is in reading.

I use student-centered approaches that I learned and infused into all of my planned learning experiences.
