About Harry

I am a Cambridge qualified professional English teacher with 11 years teaching experience. I have taught all around the world including in my native UK, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Ecuador and Morocco and now have 5 years online experience. I have taught many different age groups and abilities, from young learners to retired students, from absolute beginners to advanced university and professional students.

My teaching method is all about communication, I try to engage students in the language learning process through fun and enjoyable tasks and try to make the lessons as memorable as possible.

I have done extensive exam preparation with students including speaking role-plays with people in the medical, marketing, construction and media fields, preparing them for interviews and for passing their professional exams. My previous and current students come from a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds and I believe I am able to satisfy them all through my flexible and experienced approach.

I specialise in all aspects of General English but also in exam preparation such as IELTS and CFE as well as interview preparation for people thinking of moving to an English speaking country or working in an English language-demanding job.

I am also a tutor for 11+, GCSE and any other exams you need in English.

Other specialist areas I enjoy teaching are:
Phrasal verbs.

About the lesson

I always try to give my students real value for their money and push students to be the best they can be. All my classes involve an element of grammar, pronunciation work, in-depth yet friendly correction and a great deal of warm and enjoyable conversation practice where the student will feel at ease to make plenty of mistakes in a secure and easy-going environment.
