About Natalie
I am an experienced teacher who began my teaching career in South Africa, I moved to the UK in 1998 and worked as an art teacher in various independent schools and colleges before accepting a teaching position at an international school in Saudi Arabia for 2 years. After returning to the UK I continued working at a FE college, teaching art and supporting students with their literacy. I enjoyed the literacy support and decided to complete a CELTA course. Since then I have focused mainly on ESL teaching. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent teaching in a small language school in Berkshire, UK. The students were from a wide range of nationalities and levels. I have supported students with their IELTS preparation and Cambridge PET, KET and First exams. Recently I have been teaching ESL in Italy, in both a private language school and state schools.

I believe that lessons should be engaging to help facilitate learning. One of my greatest strengths as an educator is meeting each student’s individual requirements by developing an understanding of each student's learning preferences and abilities. I will prepare a learning plan for my students so that they know where they are starting and what they can achieve. My aim is to make lessons as interactive and student based as possible to keep learners engaged and motivated.
