About Carlos

I have played saxophone and piano since I was a child, so I can relate to most music students—practically all of them! I graduated from the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory in Havana, Cuba, and continued my music studies at Barry University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in music, and at University of Miami, where I earned a master’s degree in instrumental performance. I have taught students of different ages, both individually and in groups. Currently, I work as the music teacher of an elementary school in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. Teaching allows me to share my passion for music while helping students develop their skills, overcome challenges, and discover the joy of making music which should be a lifelong journey!

About the lesson

Personalized lessons designed to enable you to read and write music. My teaching approach varies depending on the student’s age, level, and musical interests. I strive to meet each student where they are and help them grow in their musical skills.

Music theory lessons will always include reading, writing and listening exercises.
