About Zainab
I have been teaching as a Lab Instructor and then lecturer for past 4 years. Teaching is my passion and I believe Computer programming is an art.
As a teacher my goal is to make sure that no student is left behind and be available to my students as a mentor during their program

During my studies, I always thought that it’s the teacher who makes sure that students learn. But when I was at the front of the classroom, I came to know that my role as a teacher is to provide an environment in which students can learn and it is the student’s role to actually learn.
My philosophy of teaching is that learning should be student-driven, and as a teacher, my goal is to focus on developing interest for knowledge in my students and designing such educational experiences that develops the skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity and self-motivation among them. I believe that that teaching requires communication, passion and commitment towards students.
