About Medes
Hello! I’m Medes, a passionate and dedicated English tutor who enjoys helping students become more confident in using English. I have experience teaching English to children ages 4–13 and hold a TEFL certificate. As a pre-service elementary teacher, I have developed a strong understanding of how children learn and how to make lessons engaging, comfortable, and effective.
My lessons are student-centered and adapted to each learner’s level, needs, and learning pace. I use conversations, games, visual materials, guided practice, and real-life examples to make learning English easier and more enjoyable. I believe that every student can improve when they are given patience, encouragement, and the right learning environment.
Whether your goal is to improve speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, or comprehension, I am here to support you step by step. My goal is not only to teach English but also to help my students feel comfortable speaking, make progress, and enjoy the learning process.

**Teaching Method and Techniques**
My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and focused on making lessons enjoyable and meaningful. I use simple explanations, examples, guided practice, conversations, and interactive activities to help students understand and apply what they learn. I also adjust my teaching strategies based on each learner’s level, learning pace, and specific needs.
**A Typical Lesson Plan**
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up or review to connect the lesson to what the student already knows. I then introduce the new topic using simple explanations and examples. After that, we practice together through exercises, questions, and conversation activities. At the end of the lesson, I review the key points, provide feedback, and give the student a chance to demonstrate what they have learned.
**What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor**
What sets me apart is my patience, adaptability, and genuine interest in my students’ progress. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to participate. I create a friendly learning environment where mistakes are treated as part of the learning process, while still helping students improve their skills and confidence.

My lessons are mainly designed for children and young learners, from beginners to intermediate levels. I can help students develop their English speaking, reading, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and comprehension skills. I can also adjust lessons for students who need additional practice, confidence-building, or support with their school English subjects.
