About Evelyn

I improved my grade from a 6 to a 9 over the 2 year GCSE course, so I hope my methods can help with other student's understanding. Having also achieved an A* in A Level Biology, I have a deep understanding of the requirements of students by the AQA exam board regarding mark schemes and general knowledge. This knowledge helps students avoid falling into 'traps' set in questions.

About the lesson

My lessons are for year 10 and 11 students taking GCSE Biology. I am new to tutoring so willing to offer varied lesson lengths to suit the student's needs. I use posters, whiteboards and practice questions to teach. These lessons are a supplement to teaching at school, not a replacement.

Evelyn has been my best friend since the age of 13 even back then she was so bright and always so helpful at explaining things in a way she knew I would understand ,as I am dyslexic, sometimes I struggled at school. She helped me a lot in maths and science. Even in the last year she offered to face time me just before my business a level and go through anything with me that I was unsure about, she would send me the sheets provided by her school and wait on the other end while I worked through questions. Evelyn is extremely organised and driven,I think she would be a very caring tutor and really get to know and help the individuals and cater her tutoring to them. Anyone being helped by Evelyn would be in very safe hands!
