About Joey

As a professional and inspirational teacher, I believe that each student has the potential to unlock their musical talents. My approach focuses not just on the technical aspects of playing the guitar but also on fostering creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love for music. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where you can feel comfortable exploring your musical boundaries and expressing yourself through your instrument.
What sets my teaching apart is my dedication to personalized instruction. I take the time to understand your goals, interests, and learning style, adapting my lessons to suit your needs. Together, we will tackle a variety of techniques, musical theory, and repertoire that inspires and motivates you.

About the lesson

Howdy! I’m Joey Hassler, age 26, and I am a patient and versatile beginner guitar teacher. I have taken formal lessons and am always continuing to grow in my abilities - as all musicians should. I teach online and in person and I’ve been playing and performing since age 13. I can teach ALL types of music specifically crafted to your preferences and style of music you wish to play. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I am flexible so any day and time that suits you is fine with me. I hope you will give me the chance and take the chance on yourself—you will never regret it. Let’s take this journey together-one strum at a time!

Joe has excellent knowledge of music theory. He is very patient with his students and treats them on an individual basis. He can teach right or left handed guitarists and he can break it down to their level. His rates are very reasonable and he is always on time. I strongly recommend Joe with no reservations.
