About Aaron
My name is Aaron and I am an experienced tutor with a degree in English with a minor in Theater. I specialize in writing and literature comprehension and test prep. I have 25 years experience in the classroom, so I understand the the importance of personalized guidance and instruction. My focus will ultimately be to get you to reach your full potential. Written communication is integral to success, in whatever profession you choose. I like to develop a working relationship with my students so I can best meet your needs. There is no "one size fits all" in regards to teaching and learning. I want to make your experience enjoyable, as well as challenging. I use modern technology and visual aids to make the learning experience more enjoyable and efficient. I am committed to helping each of my students reach their full potential. I want you to leave my lesson feeling like you are a better writer than you were an hour ago. One way to that end is to find out what makes the process challenging to you. Every writer has their own perspective, so my lesson plan is based on your individual needs. If you want to work on being a better writer in general, then I would do an anlaysis of your writing and determone where your deficits lie, and work on an improvment plan to maximize the time I have with you. If you come with a speific topic that you neeed help with, then we can discuss research and notes and strategies to make sure that what you write will not only please your teacher, but also yourself.
