I focus on building genuine understanding rather than rote memorisation. Sessions typically combine a short review of core concepts with active problem-solving: working through past papers, practice LNAT passages, or personal statement drafts together, and then unpicking why an answer works rather than just whether it's right.
For LNAT and application preparation, I tailor the approach to what the student actually needs, whether that's essay technique, verbal reasoning strategy, interview practice, or refining a personal statement.
My lessons typically run for 60 minutes, though I'm happy to do longer sessions (90 minutes) for intensive exam or interview preparation closer to a deadline, or shorter focused sessions if a student just wants to work through a specific problem.
I hold an LLB, the Bar Training Course (BTC), and an LLM, giving me a strong grounding in both academic law and the practical, argument-focused skills the profession demands. I have been tutoring for LNAT and application preparation in law for two years.
