About Matthew

I am currently a law student at King’s College London. I achieved three A*s and one A in A-levels, in which my subjects are Economics, Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry, along with grade 9 in Science and Maths during a one-year GCSE course. At first, I thought science and maths were dull subjects that required memorization of facts, equations, and question types to achieve good grades. However, I gradually discovered that true success in these subjects comes from deeply understanding the concepts, which not only helped me excel academically but also made the learning process enjoyable. Throughout my studies, I found great enjoyment in teaching and helping my classmates, which further fueled my passion for tutoring. I’m eager to share this skill set and experience with my students, helping them not only achieve top grades but also find joy in learning science and maths.

About the lesson

As a tutor who have a passion and love science and maths , my primary goal is to make learning not just effective but also enjoyable. I believe that understanding complex concepts should be accessible to every student, which is why I break down difficult topics into manageable, easy-to-understand pieces. My lessons are tailored to each student’s unique needs, ensuring rapid improvement in their grades and confidence.

I focus on developing strong exam techniques that go beyond memorization, helping students apply their knowledge effectively under pressure. But my lessons aren’t just about exams—I strive to ignite a genuine curiosity and love for the subject. Through engaging, interactive sessions, I encourage students to explore ideas, ask questions, and develop a deeper appreciation for science and math.
