In terms of bonding it is a must to be student-friendly. In terms of process or style variations in methodoly will pop up with regard to the subject I am teaching. Yet I follow certain key steps while mentoring--- background information, introduction, an extremely through reading, understanding and discussion of the text : precisely because that helps in being versatile with the text, which again lessens exam phobia, because the student can then answer any question from the text.Moreover it is from through knowledge of texts that helps in clarifying the basics. Small Assessments every fortnight is vital. I donot prefer weekly tests as it turns out to be burdensome, more because students need to breathe also and have fun. I personally believe that because the parents are paying the teacher as well as getting their child/ren taught they must be aware of the progress of both the guide and the candidate.
