About DEVNA
Hello, I’m Devna, a Computer Science Engineering graduate currently based in Dublin. I hold a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and have experience in professional, leadership and student-focused environments.
My academic background gives me a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science and problem-solving. Through my professional experience and leadership roles, I have developed strong communication, presentation, mentoring and organizational skills.
I believe a good tutor should be approachable, patient and genuinely interested in helping students improve. I create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely and work through challenging topics without feeling pressured. I adapt my explanations to the student’s level and focus on building understanding and confidence step by step.
I have also been involved in workshops, educational activities and leadership initiatives, which have given me experience communicating with and supporting learners with different needs and learning styles.
Whether your child needs help understanding difficult concepts, strengthening their fundamentals, preparing for exams or simply becoming more confident in a subject, I aim to make each lesson structured, engaging and useful.
Parents can expect a responsible and professional approach, clear communication and a genuine focus on their child’s progress. My goal is to help students not only improve academically but also develop the confidence and independent learning skills they can carry forward in their education.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient and student-focused. I believe students learn best when concepts are explained clearly and connected to practical examples rather than simply memorising information.
I first understand the student’s current level, learning style and areas where they need support. I then structure lessons around their individual needs, using simple explanations, worked examples, practice questions and interactive discussions. I encourage students to ask questions freely and make mistakes without hesitation, as this helps build confidence and deeper understanding.
A typical lesson is around 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student’s age, level and learning requirements. I usually begin by reviewing previous topics, introduce the new concept step by step, practise it together, and finish with questions or a short recap to make sure the student is comfortable with what they have learned.
I hold a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering and have experience working with students, conducting workshops and supporting learning activities. My leadership and professional experience have also strengthened my communication, presentation and mentoring skills.
I offer lessons for school students who need support with Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, particularly students looking to strengthen their fundamentals, improve problem-solving skills and build confidence in their subjects.
My goal is not only to help students achieve better academic results but also to make learning more understandable, engaging and enjoyable. **For parents, I aim to provide a reliable and supportive learning environment where your child feels comfortable asking questions, develops strong fundamentals and makes steady progress. I believe in keeping learning positive while helping students become more confident and independent in their studies.**
