Kumusta! Teaching Tagalog isn't just about throwing grammar rules and vocabulary lists at my students; it's an exciting, interactive journey where we blend everyday conversation with modern digital flair. My approach is all about keeping things light, engaging, and deeply practical, using fun pop culture chats and relatable real-life scenarios to make learning feel natural. When you step into one of our sessions, here is what a typical journey looks like together. We kick things off with a quick, casual conversational check-in to warm up and build your confidence right away. From there, we dive into the core concept of the day, introducing fresh vocabulary and sentence structures through fun, interactive examples. Next comes the best part: hands-on practice through role-playing and guided sentence-building based on real-world topics. We always wrap up with a fast summary and a fun little challenge to keep the momentum going for our next meeting.What makes this experience truly unique is my background as a computer science undergraduate who loves bringing structure, tech tools, and clear organization into language learning, paired with a patient and friendly mentoring style shaped by my leadership and communication experience. These lessons are designed for anyone—whether you are an absolute beginner taking your very first steps into the language, an advanced learner wanting to polish your fluency, or someone eager to explore Filipino pop culture and connect deeply with the culture at your own pace.
