About Eleanor
Strings vibrating against wooden frets defined the sound of my childhood in Buenos Aires. I spent 13 years performing guitar and piano across the United States. My instruction incorporates reading sheet music, tabs, and complex fingerpicking patterns.
Having earned a Master of Music, I emphasize proper tuning and maintenance for every instrument. I guide students through rhythm guitar, chord transitions, and the subtle art of songwriting. My 13 years of experience allow me to break down scales and modes into manageable parts. I focus on power chords for those drawn to rock and blues.
Teaching allows me to share the music that shaped my own life. I really enjoy helping others find their voice.

Starting with the basics means we look at the instrument as an extension of the self, rather than just a collection of parts. I emphasize steady pacing so that your fingers adjust to the physical demands of chord transitions and rhythmic accuracy.
My lessons draw on my formal training to explain why certain scales and modes sound the way they do when paired together. I evaluate your progress through grade exam prep and constant adjustments to your technique. This method ensures that you can read music and write your own compositions with confidence. We work together to reach your goals at a steady speed.
