About Jane
Hi, I'm Jane, a TEFL-certified English teacher with a real passion for working with kids and teens. I've always loved languages and the way they open doors, new friendships, opportunities, and ways of seeing the world and I wanted to help young learners experience that same sense of possibility.
What draws me to teaching specifically is watching a student go from hesitant to confident — that moment when a child who was shy to speak starts forming full sentences, or a teenager finally "gets" a grammar point they'd been struggling with. I find that incredibly rewarding, and it's what keeps me motivated as a teacher.
I bring patience, energy, and a genuine interest in each student as an individual not just their English level, but what they enjoy, how they learn best, and what will keep them engaged. My goal is always to make lessons feel supportive and fun, so kids actually look forward to learning rather than dreading it.
