About Asa

Hello! My name is Asa Leininger, and I am an educator, theater artist, and lifelong student of language and culture. I hold Bachelor's degrees in History and Theater from Missouri State University and a TEFL certification from the International University of Catalunya. Over the past several years, I have taught students across the United States, Spain, and the Dominican Republic in a variety of educational settings.

My teaching experience includes English-language instruction in Catalunya, Advanced Placement History and Economics in New York City, youth development programming, and arts education for learners of all ages. Having worked with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, I strive to create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each learner's individual goals.

As both a teacher and a creative professional, I believe learning should be active, meaningful, and enjoyable. Whether you are looking to improve conversational English, strengthen your academic writing, prepare for examinations, or build confidence speaking the language, I am committed to helping you succeed. About the lesson

My classroom is a place where language is lived, not merely studied. Drawing upon my experience teaching English in Spain and working with students across diverse educational settings, I strive to create an environment that is engaging, supportive, and student-centered. Lessons are designed to encourage active communication, critical thinking, and creativity, allowing students to build confidence in their English abilities through meaningful practice rather than rote memorization.

I believe that mistakes are an essential part of learning. As such, my classroom fosters a culture of curiosity, respect, and growth, where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and develop their skills at their own pace. Whether preparing for examinations, improving conversational fluency, or strengthening academic English, students can expect dynamic lessons that incorporate real-world contexts, collaborative activities, and individualized support.

Above all, my goal is to help learners discover that language is more than a subject—it is a tool for connection, self-expression, and opportunity.
