About Joel

Hello, I’m Joel — a TEFL certified English coach from India, currently living in Goa close to the ocean and nature.

Alongside teaching, I’m also a professional baker and run my own bakery in Goa. I enjoy working with people, creativity and meaningful experiences, which is one of the reasons I genuinely love coaching English. Helping others grow in confidence and communication brings immense fulfillment to me personally.

My life as a baker has taught me discipline, structure and professionalism. Managing a bakery requires consistency, responsibility and respect for time, and I bring the same values into my classes. I strongly believe that words and commitments matter — trust is built when we do what we say with sincerity and integrity.

About the lesson

Hello and welcome.

My classes are designed for people who want to speak English naturally, confidently and comfortably in real life — not just memorize grammar rules from textbooks. I work mainly with adults, young professionals, travelers, creatives and learners who wish to improve their communication skills in a calm and supportive environment.

As a TEFL certified English coach, I focus on conversational fluency, pronunciation, confidence building and authentic communication. My teaching style is relaxed, encouraging and personalized according to each student’s goals and personality.

A typical class may include:

Natural conversations about daily life, culture, travel, food, lifestyle and personal interests
Vocabulary and pronunciation improvement
Speaking practice for confidence and fluency
Gentle grammar correction during conversation
Listening and comprehension exercises
Real-world English used in everyday situations

I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and free from judgment. Many learners already know basic English but struggle with hesitation, fear or overthinking while speaking. My goal is to help students feel more expressive, relaxed and confident while communicating.

I also enjoy bringing creativity and mindfulness into my sessions through storytelling, observation and meaningful conversations instead of rigid memorization techniques.

Whether you are preparing for travel, work, interviews or simply want to become more fluent in everyday English, my classes are adapted to support your personal journey and pace of learning.
