About Wallastencia

Hello, my name is Wallastencia and I am a Zimbabwean lady with a love and passion for the English language.

My hobbies are listening to music, cooking, dancing, and journaling. I am an introvert who enjoys having deep and meaningful conversations with people I meet and having debates as well. I enjoy learning other people’s beliefs and opinions as well as what motivates them to think that way.

I do enjoy my coffee as well, it’s a great start to my day, along with a good book or while listening to a podcast.

I am a TEFL English tutor with over 10 years experience, tutoring face-to-face as well as online. I teach Conversational English as well as Business English.

I love conversing with my students and prioritizing a friendly environment that allows my student to learn

My area of expertise is teaching kids and adults (8 years of age and older).

In both official and informal settings, I have instructed students from a variety of backgrounds. My classes are practical, interesting, and focused on the needs of the students. Lessons are interesting, useful, and focused on the needs of the students. To make learning engaging and applicable, I employ presentations, audio, videos, and real-world situations. To ensure both effectiveness and fun, each class is customized to each learner's goals and style.

My students can choose to have their video on or off during the lessons (audio lessons). This can be applicable if you're taking the lesson while outdoors or you're just busy. It also works if you're a student who wants to practice making and taking phone calls.

I enjoy role-playing in the classroom, where for instance, if you're planning to travel and want to practice how to speak to strangers or specific people and learn how to use conversation starters which enable you to break the ice and speak fluently and confidently with anyone.

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

I hold a 120-hour TEFL Certificate which has equipped me with the tools to teach students with different English levels and learning needs.

I have a Diploma in Marketing and have worked in the corporate world and that makes me a competitive Business English teacher. I look forward to meeting you.

In my classroom, be comfortable to express yourself and know that it's a safe space for you to be yourself and speak confidently, bearing in mind that you learn through making mistakes and that there is nothing wrong with that.

I allow my students to learn at their own pace but if required, I will guide you to challenge yourself and learn at a faster pace, especially if you have a learning deadline.

About the lesson

I am a TEFL-certified English teacher and I specialize in grammar, vocabulary and perfecting my student's accent and fluency as well as ensuring that they speak with confidence at all times.
