About Ephrata

Hi! I'm Ephrata, and I'm someone who genuinely enjoys learning, helping others, and making meaningful connections. I can be a little quiet when you first meet me, but I'm friendly, patient, and easy to talk to once I get to know people. I enjoy reading, watching anime, spending time with family and friends, and learning about different cultures and perspectives. I also love working with children and find it rewarding to help people grow in confidence and reach their goals. I chose to study psychology because I've always been fascinated by how people think, feel, and learn. I wanted to better understand others so I could support them in a meaningful way and make a positive difference in their lives. I value kindness, respect, honesty, and creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves. One thing I don't enjoy is giving up easily, I believe mistakes are a natural part of learning, and I encourage my students to keep trying without being afraid of getting things wrong. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, supportive, and something you can look forward to each lesson.

Hello! My name is Ephrata, and I am a TESFL-certified English tutor and a psychology student with a passion for helping learners achieve their language goals. With 5 years of experience, I offer personalised English lessons for children, teenagers, and adults, whether you are looking to improve your speaking, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, or overall confidence in English. I understand that every learner is different, so I tailor each lesson to suit your individual needs, learning style, and pace, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where you can feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.

My background in psychology allows me to understand how people learn and develop confidence, helping me create engaging lessons that are both effective and enjoyable. Whether you need support with schoolwork, exam preparation, academic writing, conversational English, or simply want to become more fluent, I am committed to helping you succeed.
