Hello! I'm Athea, a TEFL-certified English tutor and an AB English Language Studies (AB ELS) student with a passion for helping learners improve their English skills. As a TEFL-certified English tutor and an AB English Language Studies (AB ELS) student, I believe that learning English should be engaging, practical, and tailored to each student's goals. My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and building confidence.
My lessons are interactive and student-centered. I use conversations, guided practice, real-life situations, vocabulary activities, grammar exercises, and pronunciation practice to help students improve naturally. I adjust my teaching style based on each student's learning pace, interests, and needs.
A typical lesson begins with a warm-up conversation or review of previous material, followed by the introduction of a new topic. We then practice through interactive activities, role-plays, reading, listening, or speaking exercises. At the end of each lesson, I provide feedback, answer questions, and recommend simple practice activities to reinforce what we've learned.
What sets me apart is my patient, encouraging, and personalized teaching style. I focus on helping students develop confidence while improving their communication skills, rather than simply memorizing grammar rules. My goal is to make every lesson enjoyable, motivating, and effective.
My lessons are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners, including children, teenagers, and adults.
