About Helaiza
Hello! I'm a dedicated English tutor with experience teaching learners from different backgrounds and proficiency levels. I have experience teaching English online through platforms where I helped students improve their communication skills, pronunciation, vocabulary, and confidence in using English.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management and a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, which have helped me develop effective teaching strategies and a strong understanding of language learning.
My teaching approach is student-centered and focused on creating a comfortable and engaging learning environment. I believe that every student has a different learning style, so I adjust my lessons based on their goals, level, and pace. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, prepare for school or work, travel confidently, or strengthen your grammar and vocabulary, I will tailor lessons to meet your needs.

My teaching approach is focused on helping students truly understand concepts rather than simply memorizing information. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by a clear explanation of new concepts using simple language and practical examples. We then work through guided exercises together before moving on to independent practice. I provide constructive feedback throughout the lesson and finish with a summary of the key points, along with recommendations for further practice when needed.
What sets me apart is my patient, supportive, and personalized approach. I focus on building confidence as well as knowledge, ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenging topics. My aim is not only to help students succeed in their current studies but also to develop the skills and confidence to learn independently.
My lessons are suitable for high school, college, and university students, as well as adult learners. Whether you need help understanding difficult concepts, preparing for exams, completing assignments, or improving your overall performance, I will tailor each lesson to meet your individual needs and academic goals.
