About Susan
Born and raised in the DC metro area, my degree is in international business. I always wanted to have international experience, and I moved to Madrid 14 years ago. I have a 160-hr TEFL certificate and 14 years of experience teaching in academies, companies and privately. I speak Spanish fluently and some French (though we will try to avoid translation in class!). Knowledge of other languages helps me better understand student mistakes and the nuances of English. Students appreciate my clear voice, my simple explanations and my patience. I'm available for online classes from 6 am - 5 pm EDT.
