About Esperida,
Hi! I’m Julie, from the Philippines. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with a degree in Secondary Education, majoring in English, and a TEFL-certified ESL Teacher. With several years of experience in English tutoring, I am passionate about helping learners—especially adults and working professionals—develop confidence and proficiency in the English language.
I have two years of experience as an ESL Tutor, specializing in Business English and Conversational English for intermediate learners to advance learners. I helped students improve fluency and confidence in speaking English—whether in casual conversations, business meetings, or preparation for studying and working abroad.
In addition, I have taught young learners at the beginner level, introducing them to phonics, sight words, grammar, and simple reading exercises. I have also worked with high school students aiming to excel in their English exams, supporting them in strengthening their skills.
Aside from online teaching experience,
I have also worked for two years as a Senior High School Teacher, teaching English and Research‑related subjects. I guided students in writing academic papers and closely monitored their performance to help them succeed.
Teaching is my passion. I love helping learners achieve their goals of mastering the language. I always ensure that learning takes place in a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment, because I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and happy. I emphasize giving learners ample opportunities to practice their skills and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.

My specialization lies in Business English for Adults and Conversational English, where I focus on improving speaking fluency, correct pronunciation, and grammatical accuracy. I primarily handle intermediate to advanced learners, guiding them to refine their communication skills for professional, academic, and social contexts.
I have taught English to students from diverse backgrounds, preparing them for business meetings, workplace communication, international travel, and everyday conversations with English speakers. My teaching style is demonstrative and facilitative, giving learners ample opportunities to practice, engage, and receive constructive feedback. I use contextualized examples to make lessons practical, relatable, and effective.
