About Zayna

Some background about me: I received 8 A*s and 3 As at GCSE and 3 A*s and 1 A at A level. I received a first-class degree in comparative literature from UCL. I have previously worked in PR and marketing, social media, and content editing, which has given me excellent attention to detail and helped me become a better tutor. I recently started my own tuition agency called Shuhari Tuition. In September 2025, I became TEFL-certified, so if you're learning English as a second language, get in touch!

About the lesson

I create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each student. My teaching methodology is highly personalised. I combine a mixture of interactive activities, practical examples, and exercises to reinforce your understanding and build your confidence. All resources will be provided for the lesson. In our first lesson, I'll provide an assessment so that I can see what level you're at, enabling me to put together a study plan for you.

I have strong knowledge of the national curriculum, so you can rest assured that what you're learning will help you get ahead in class. If you're working towards a particular exam, then I use the specification to guide and inform our lessons so that you become exam ready. Lessons are typically 1-2 hours, but I'm flexible with this depending on your needs. Over the past 8 years, I've tutored over 250 students, helping them get the grades to get into their secondary school, college/sixth form, or university of choice, with a 90% success rate.
