About James
Hi, I'm James. When I retired 5 years ago I re-trained as an English teacher, which is something I have always wanted to do! With a degree in business , over thirty years business experience and a love of English, I now have a new mission in life, to help people speak, read, write English with confidence and pride.
My passions are Rugby, cycling and international travel. I am always wanting to know more about the wonderful world we live in.

I am a fully qualified TEFL / TESOL teacher and accredited IELTS preparation tutor. Since 2017 I have helped over 6900 people to learn and improve every aspect of their English.

I teach students according to what they want to achieve with their English, while building their confidence and pride in their ability to use the language of Shakespeare with my friendly conversational teaching style and patience.

Your journey begins with a complimentary lesson and placement test so that a tailor made course can be made just for you. Each lesson will include homework so that you can ensure full understanding of the topic that has just been covered.
