About Lisa
In 2024, I completed the TEFL certification through International TEFL Academy. Since then, I have taught over 1500 ESL lesson hours. Most of that has been online, but a good portion has also been in-person. I also have a College certificate in something called Career Development Practitioner which basically gives you the skills to work in the Employment industry which I did for over 2 years. I therefore specialize in anything Employment related such as searching for jobs or workplace communication. I also owned my own business teaching people how to drive. I ran this business successfully for over 7 years and so am very experienced in Business English.

I teach all levels, ages and nationalities. I can help you with your pronunciation, basic conversation practice, speaking, writing, reading, vocabulary and grammar.
What you may find unique about me is that I really care about your progress. For me, it is important you learn new things every time you have a lesson with me. I have over 75 lesson plans I have created myself. I give constructive feedback and homework after each lesson.

I have been taking English lessons with Lisa, and I really appreciate her approach. She is calm, attentive, and creates a comfortable atmosphere where it feels safe to make mistakes and try to speak. Details
The in-person lessons are $5 more per hour to compensate for travel time and expenses. I offer the 1st 30 min free. The platform won't let me change the fixed 1 hour free. I feel you will be able to determine if I am someone you want to have lessons with ongoingly in 30 minutes. Please be sure to give at least 12 hours notice for cancellations. If you don't give at least 12 hours notice and it was something within your control, the lesson rate will still be charged to respect my time as I have booked that time off in my schedule.
