Hello everyone! I’m so excited to have the opportunity to teach you. My name is Abigail and I am a dedicated foundation phase teacher with a TEFL certification. I specialize in teaching English, Afrikaans, and Mathematics, and I have a genuine love for working with children. As a TEFL-certified student teacher passionate about working with children, I offer private tutoring in both English and Afrikaans, specifically aimed at Foundation Phase learners. My lessons are fun, interactive, and filled with encouragement to help young learners build confidence. I use a variety of methods including play-based learning, visual aids, and storytelling to make language learning enjoyable and effective.
I teach in both English and Afrikaans, and I create a safe, positive environment where children feel supported and motivated. In each lesson, students can expect clear goals, engaging activities, and kind, patient guidance. I love helping children grow, not just academically but also in character and confidence.
My lessons are best suited for early primary school children who need support in English or Afrikaans reading, writing, or speaking. Whether your child is just starting out or needs a little extra help, I’m here to make learning joyful and meaningful!
