About Meg
Hi, I'm Meg, a native British speaker, born and living in the UK!
I am currently in my first year with The Open University, as a mature student, studying a BA in Language Studies (English and Spanish).
I have a 120hr Level 3 TEFL certificate and a 168hr Level 5 TEFL Diploma, which are both accredited & recognised internationally, and I also speak multiple foreign languages!
I’m super passionate about meeting new people, and some of my hobbies & interests include: travelling, food, nature, and learning about other cultures!
I have lived & studied in France, Spain, Switzerland and Italy, and have visited 14 countries in total... so I have lots of experience connecting with people from all over the world from all different backgrounds, and I certainly understand how it feels to learn a new language!
When I was younger, I worked as an Aupair for 4 years, in 3 different countries, living with different host families & caring for their children of different ages and teaching them English every day!

I am a kind & patient person who loves helping people, so you will be able to speak with me and improve your English skills in a relaxed environment.
I can help with your conversational skills, and tourist-friendly English for example. Or perhaps you're moving to an English-speaking country and you would like to improve your fluency? Maybe you need assistance with reading, writing, listening, and vocabulary…?
However you wish to learn, I’m here to help you grow your confidence speaking English, at your own pace!

Details
I offer an optional free first lesson (30 minutes). However, please note - once scheduled, it cannot be rescheduled for free. This is mutual respect for everyone's time.
We will briefly assess your proficiency level, find out what topics interest you the most, discuss what you would like to acheive, and practice general conversational skills together...at your own pace. You can also tell me if you would like to be interrupted with corrections as you speak, or have them shared at the end.
Maybe you find it easier to study other areas of the English language (such as grammar, coursework, etc..) outside of online lessons, in your own time... but having a conversation is something you can only do with a real person - if this sounds like you, then I am here to help!
