About Schalk
Hello! My name is Schalk, and I am a TEFL-qualified online English teacher who is passionate about helping students grow in confidence and communication skills. I enjoy creating a positive, friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. Teaching allows me to connect with learners from different backgrounds and support them as they reach their language goals. I am patient, encouraging, and dedicated to helping every student succeed.

My lessons are fun, supportive, and well-structured to help my students enjoy learning English while making real progress. I use games, visuals, simple conversations, and clear explanations to keep lessons engaging, especially for kids and beginners. Each lesson is adapted to the student"s level, goals, and learning style. I teach in English and Afrikaans, creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and excited to learn.
