About Fay
Hello, my name is Fay and I'm a native English-speaker from South Africa with UK roots. I'm a certified TEFL/TESOL teacher with over 7 years of experience teaching students of all levels and ages. I have taught English Language, Literature, Academic and Creative Writing, and English as a Second Language (ESL), both online and offline. In addition to teaching, I enjoy literature, music, art, culture, travel, and design.

I believe that every student has their own unique way of learning, and it's my job as a tutor to find the best approach that suits them. My teaching methodology is based on the communicative approach, where the focus is on the practical use of language in real-life situations. I incorporate a range of techniques and materials, including multimedia resources, role-playing, discussions, and games, to make the lessons interactive and engaging. During our classes, we will work on all the language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and listening comprehension, to achieve fluency and accuracy. I also emphasize the importance of cultural awareness, as it helps students to communicate effectively and understand different perspectives.
