About Jorge
My name is Jorge and I am Telecommunications Engineer at UPM and graduate in Business Administration at UNED. I have been working for more than 12 years in IT for large corporations (Telco, Energy and Banking), the last 5 years spent in the United Kingdom. Now I offer myself to give private lessons because I will be studying a masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, due to incompatibility of schedules with the professional sector. For many years I have been teaching mathematics, physics and chemistry up to pre-university level. I can also teach economics and do it in both Spanish and English.

To teach the classes, I firstly try to get to know the student, his context and objectives (to pass the course, to get good grades). Based on this information, and based on the required level, I adapt the teaching in a totally personalized way to the characteristics of the student. After a theoretical explanation of the specific topic/problem/casuistic, we always go into practice, and I usually allow the student to fail and make an effort himself in trying to find out where the failure is. Later, I assist with a proper explanation and I usually seek reinforcement in those areas / problems that I have seen that are not clear enough. And apart from the learning, I focus on the examns.
