About Vie

Hello, everyone! My name is Vie, and I am currently studying vocal performance (tenor) at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Throughout my journey in vocal training, I have explored various techniques, worked with different teachers, and faced many challenges along the way. That’s why I am dedicated to providing a clear, effective, and systematic approach to help my students avoid unnecessary detours, develop healthy vocal habits, and truly enjoy their own voices. My Achievements I have won several awards in international vocal competitions, including: * 2nd Prize – Ordinary Chamber International Music Festival (Age 16) * Silver Award – The 10th Hong Kong International Vocal Open Competition (Age 17) * Special award (1st Prize) – "Beautiful Youth of NUA (national competition held by Nanjing University of Arts)" Preliminary & Final (Age 18) * Golden Prize – 2024 TSP International Open Competition (Age 19) Additionally, I was a member of the Wenzhou No. 2 Secondary School Choir, which performed at the Golden Hall in Vienna and won multiple international and national choir awards. About the lesson

For Children Ages 4-8 (or Beginner Level): - Focus on building interest in singing and fostering a love for music. - Emphasize pitch accuracy, rhythm, and basic vocal techniques in a fun, engaging way. - Incorporate games and interactive exercises to create a positive and enjoyable learning experience. For Children Ages 8-14 (or Pre-Teen/Teen, Voice Change): - Guide students through the voice change process by developing a solid vocal foundation. - Introduce basic singing techniques, such as breath control and simple vocal exercises, to help them maintain a healthy voice. - Focus on feeling the airflow through the body and avoiding incorrect singing habits that could hinder vocal development. For Teens 15+ (or Intermediate/Advanced): - Help students refine and build upon their existing vocal technique. - Introduce more advanced vocal techniques, including proper breath support, resonance, and advanced phrasing. - Focus on identifying and correcting any vocal issues that may arise during performances or practice, working to solidify healthy, sustainable singing habits. I will tailor a structured and scientific training plan based on your level and your trouble with it. My teaching focuses on: Precise Problem-Solving – I will directly point out areas for improvement instead of giving vague advice. Developing Vocal Aesthetics – Helping you understand what a “good voice” is and how to express music effectively. Scientific Training Methods – Combining physiological vocal principles with sensory awareness to refine your technique. The emotional expression of the song and the language and detailed interpretation of the scores and songs. Other courses: Theory: I also offer ABRSM Grade 1-5 Music Theory courses, covering rhythm, pitch, keys and scales, intervals, chords, musical terms, symbols. Aural class: Aural training (fixed-do system for pitch recognition, chords, rhythm, and melody). My lessons are structured to be clear, engaging, and efficient, ensuring that students make significant progress in the shortest time possible.
