About Caroline
I have taught ESL for 5 years in New York City, and often hear students tell me: "I want to sound like a native speaker," or "English rules make no sense," or "I am too scared to speak out loud in English." Sound familiar? The truth is, anyone can master a language if you are willing to make mistakes. No one, myself included, and I speak Spanish and Chinese, can master a new language without sometimes sounding a little silly. After 5 years, I have helped numerous students overcome their fears of conversational English, and I want to help you too. Through consistent pronunciation, fun vocabulary games, and relaxed conversation, we will work together to help you overcome your fears of acquiring language, and make mistakes to become a more fluent English speaker.

Details
Best results are through a 12 week program, designed to build on your progress by meeting 2 hours each week. $30/hr for 2hrs x 12 weeks is $720. This must be paid in full and students are responsible to show up to lessons as scheduled in advance during work hours. Cancellations or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance will result in a lost session. This is to push your English level and ensure consistent practice, to get the best results.
