  Ans-The idea of teaching Spoken English came to me after I moved from Kolkata, where I was born and raised, to Ahmedabad. I joined an online fabric store as a Customer Support Associate, where interacting with clients became a major part of my role.
  Over time, my colleagues often appreciated the way I handled customer queries and resolved complaints. While many of them were highly talented and knowledgeable, I noticed that a lack of confidence in English communication sometimes held them back.
  
  That realization inspired me to start helping others improve their English skills. I saw firsthand how effective communication can open doors, boost confidence, and create better professional opportunities. What began as a simple observation soon grew into a passion for teaching Spoken English and helping learners express themselves with confidence.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  As I mentioned, my colleagues from my previous organization were my biggest motivation to start teaching. Working closely with them made me realize that this challenge was not limited to just one workplace. There were countless talented and hardworking people across India whose career growth was being affected simply because they lacked confidence in speaking English.

• How does your work help society?

  Today, my work helps working professionals, entrepreneurs, students, and job seekers build confidence in their communication skills and accelerate their career growth. Effective English communication is more than just a language skill—it is a tool that opens doors to new opportunities, stronger professional relationships, and greater career advancement.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  If I had to choose just one role model, it would be my mentor during my TEFL course. Her approach to teaching was truly inspiring and left a lasting impact on me. She believed that before teaching grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation, a teacher must first help students build confidence.
  
  When students believe in themselves, they become more willing to speak, make mistakes, learn, and grow.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy connecting with people and having meaningful conversations. I also love to read, though to be honest, I have not explored many genres but I like to read motivational books and self development books. And I have a keen interest in Astrology!

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One conversation that always brings a smile to my face was with a student who was probably in his late twenties. After one of our classes, he asked me how I managed to have so much energy and enthusiasm during every session.
  
  I found the question both amusing and flattering, especially because I am in my 50s! 😀
