About Beatrice

I am a Textile Designer (textile designer), I have been working and living in Italy for 4 years. I attended the second year of elementary school in London, after having lived there for a few years when I was very young, the rest of primary and secondary school I obtained in Italy. From the age of 13 I started going to Scotland, even 3 times a year, to visit my father, with a longer stay in the summer. In 2010 I moved to Singapore, where the official language is English, I did two short courses in Fashion Design while working in catering at the same time and after about a year and a half I moved to Scotland to start university which I finished in 2015. In addition to the English language experience at the study level I also have the professional one, having always worked during the study period and not. This particular background of mine has made the English language part of me, I have not studied languages but I believe I have an excellent knowledge of the English language and can help those who need it.

About the lesson

My approach to the subject is quite free, I have no particular specific methods. I think this changes depending on which pupil you are in front of, on what you need most or where there are more gaps and also on the age. I think it is important to practice as much as possible by making a lot of conversation to feel more and more loose and free, as well as from writing, grammar and reading practice. Furthermore, for those with particular interests or passions, you can also work on that, from cartoons, TV series, films and songs and even books. There are many ways to learn and to make learning lighter but more effective. The important thing is to feel motivated to be able to commit to the best.
