About Léonie

I’m a French-Canadian circus artist, performer, and acupuncture therapist with years of experience in technical handbalancing and movement.

My approach is rooted in precision, body awareness, and consistent refinement and traditional handstand technique.
I’ve spent years developing my own technique — and now, I teach it with clarity and care, especially for adults who are starting their handbalancing journey later in life.

I believe that general strength, knowledge of anatomie, and intelligent training/rest, build not only better handbalancers, but healthier movers overall. I’m here to share what I’ve learned — from the studio to the stage — with those ready to get upside down and deepen their practice.

About the lesson

My approach is inclusive, technical, and tailored to your body. Whether you're training in handbalancing or acrodance, I work with your individual body type, strength, and current level to help you build a strong, sustainable practice.

Each class includes:
- A comprehensive warm-up
- Flexibility specific to handbalancing
- Strength and conditioning
- Technical drills to develop balance upside-down

All exercises are adapted to your personal progress — from total beginners to those with prior movement experience.

You'll learn the correct technique for foundational positions (straight, tuck, straddle), how to structure your training between classes, and receive "homework" to support your development or a training program.

What you need: A body, a flat ground, a wall, a chair and motivation.

Renata is disciplined and commited to her path to learn Handstand, and I am very sure she will improve quickly, and has huge potentiel to reach her goal. Perfect! Léo has amazing amount of knowledge, a super keen eye and she can emphasize very well from her own experience.
