About Sarah
I have been teaching beginner guitar for eight years, and my trusty guitar was my constant companion during my two years of service abroad. It was an incredible tool for bridging language barriers and forming friendships, and I teach it with that same spirit of connection and fun. I know how to keep students motivated by ensuring they are always working on music they love, and I specialize in creating a relaxed, patient learning atmosphere.

The guitar is a wonderfully social instrument, perfect for sharing music with friends and family. My lessons are designed to be practical, fun, and focused on getting you playing right away. We will start with the basic chords and strumming patterns you need to play hundreds of popular songs. My approach is perfect for K-12 students who want to play campfire songs, join a school music club, or accompany themselves while singing. The focus is always on making music a rewarding and enjoyable part of your life.
