My approach to tutoring is highly adaptable and centered around the student’s current coursework. Since every child learns differently, I begin by understanding what topics they are covering in school, how the material is being presented, and where they may be struggling or excelling. From there, I build personalized lesson plans that reinforce classroom concepts through clear explanations, step‑by‑step breakdowns, and plenty of practice.
I use techniques that keep students engaged and confident, including:

• celebrating progress to build motivation

Check‑in & quick review – We start with a short recap of the previous session or the week’s schoolwork to identify what needs attention.
Targeted instruction – I introduce or revisit the day’s topic, explaining it in a clear, structured way that matches the child’s learning style.
Guided practice – We work through examples together, gradually shifting responsibility to the student.
Independent application – The student completes a few problems or exercises on their own while I offer support as needed.
Wrap‑up & next steps – We summarize what they learned and identify goals or focus areas for the next lesson.
