About Dharmesh

As an experienced educator and passionate advocate for community development, my career has been dedicated to improving the lives of others through education. I have spent over a decade honing my craft as a teacher, tutor, and mentor, with a particular focus on school entrance exams and mathematics. My passion for teaching and community work started early on in my life, when I volunteered as a local youth coordinator. Seeing the impact that I could have on the lives of young people inspired me to pursue a career in education. I have worked as a math teacher in a secondary school, where I taught Key Stage 2 to GCSE level. This experience taught me how to engage with students of all backgrounds and abilities, and I quickly learned how to tailor my teaching to meet the needs of each individual. Over the years, I have worked with a variety of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Pupil Referral Units (PRUs). I take great pride in my ability to help all students achieve their potential, no matter their starting point. As a tutor, I have helped students prepare for UK and USA school entrance exams, including the ISEE, SHSAT, SSAT, and a range of UK entrance exams. My expertise in this area has been honed over many years of dedicated study and experience, and I take great pride in helping students gain entry to some of the most prestigious schools. My tutoring approach is characterized by personalized attention, adaptability, and a deep understanding of each student's unique learning style. I believe in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts at their own pace. By utilizing a combination of interactive exercises, practical examples, and targeted assessments, I empower my students to develop a solid foundation in the subject matter and cultivate critical thinking skills. Outside of tutoring, I engage in various activities to further enrich my life and broaden my horizons. One of my favorite pastimes is reading, as it allows me to explore different perspectives and gain insights from various authors. Some of my favorite books include The Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R. Tolkien and The Narnia series by C.S. Lewis.

What sets me apart is my extensive experience as a school teacher and test tutor, specializing in exams such as ISEE, SSAT, SHSAT, Regents Math, SAT, ACT, and UK tests. With a proven track record of success, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every session, empowering students to achieve their academic goals. My lessons are ideal for students at various levels, from elementary to high school, as well as those preparing for standardized tests or seeking extra support in specific subjects.
